Ok so I need a new power supply to go with this new graphics card.

Now i have never put in a new power supply so if one of you kind people can recommend me one that is under $40 to go with that card it will be greatly appreciated! Merry Christmas!

If your budget is 40 bucks then this one would probably be your best bet.

But you should take out your existing power supply and measure it and see if this one is the same dimensions.

However, if it all possible you should increase your budget to get a better power supply. The power supply is the backbone of your system, it it goes, then it could take the rest of your system with it.

Okay i think i can spring the extra for that... now on the video cards requirements it says

350 Watt Power Supply (with 18A on the +12V Rail)

what does (with 18A on the +12V Rail) mean? and will the power supply you suggested have that?

The corsair power supply I linked to has 28amps on the 12v rail, so you'll be fine.
