I have spilt cola all over my mouse on my laptop

Help me! .. Last night I spilt cola on my mouse on my laptop and I wiped it straight up but half an hour later the mouse started to play up. Now today it has got worse, anyone got any idea on how I could make it work again??

cola is sticky and usually means bad news for laptop components. I assume you mean the touch pad? You will probably have to take it somehere to see if it can be salvaged or not. You can use a damp cotton cloth on it to try and get some of the stickyness off, but do not use anything but water! and only a damp amount!

What is the make and model of your laptop?

Undoubtedly the mouse will have to be replaced, but I might be able to get you a good deal on it.
