HOW I GOT THE VIRUS
I got the virus "antivirus vista 2010" by going into a site that I don't remember because it was a site in google search when I was searching for "nucleotides." when I got it the adobe something pop up, then the security option of my computer where you turn on and off the windows firewall pop up too, then I noticed that the firewall is turned off. Then now the "antivirus vista 2010" pop up and I'm aware that it is a virus. I close it, then there is it files starting to get affected and terminated.

WHAT HAPPENED
The first thing I do when I got this type of virus is to restore the system to normal point but the system restore won't open. The next thing I do is to restart my computer then open system restore again but this time the virus multiply, I got another "antivirus"(which is a virus) then I turned off the computer. This 2nd "antivirus" is known to me because I got it several times but got rid of it by using:

HOW I GET RID OF THE VIRUS
Now that I can't use restoring on the normal start I tried to turn on turn off the computer so the option "Repair(because the computer doesn't start properly)" in the beginning be available. But it didn't show up. (I can't use any of F9-F12 of my keyboard that time because that keys are for play pause and fast forward or for video). So now I have another keyboard which I could use which I didn't really use because the "Repair" option came in when I hook the keyboard. Then there is it I restored it and the viruses are gone but:

PROBLEMS
1. The keyboards are not working(any), they are ON but don't do anything: I tried to unhook then hook then restart each keyboard.

2. The internet doesn't work, I tried any possible way: Use diagnose( all three options doesn't work) the internet doesn't seem to be damaged because I am using it in my laptop(wired) right now.

My only option if I don't get any from you is to use system recovery(reformat)

ok, a few hours of searching I got into device manager in control panel and probably one of the problem is there but I don't know how to fix it, here:

>Network adapters
>6TO4 Adapter(with warning sign) > properties > General: Device status: This device cannot start. (Code 10)
[Click 'Check for solutions' to send data about this device to Microsoft and to see if there is a solution available]

nope, haven't reformatted it yet but I will. I will buy an external hard drive to store most of the data that I have then reformat it. But would like to wait a little if someone could help me.

As for the MalwareBytes, I couldn't open any program, it will just say "(programthatIopen) have been infected would you like to open the antivirus program" when I open anything

Try booting to safe mode and see if you can run anything that way. Also you should perform the follow procedure.

Download and Run ComboFix
If you already have Combofix, please delete this copy and download it again as it's being updated regularly.
Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall

Combofix should never take more that 20 minutes including the reboot if malware is detected.
If it does, open Task Manager then Processes tab (press ctrl, alt and del at the same time) and end any processes of findstr, find, sed or swreg, then combofix should continue.
If that happened we want to know, and also what process you had to end.

In your next reply please post:
  • The ComboFix log
  • A fresh HiJackThis log
  • An update on how your computer is running

Another thing to try would be to download Rkill and run it so that it can disable any active infections temporarily so you can run things.

http://www.technibble.com/rkill-repair-tool-of-the-week/

Download the .com and or the .scr and run it. But do not reboot the system. You may need a flash drive to download the file on a different computer and run it on yours.

The problem that I told you that I couldn't open any program is when I had the virus
The computer is in good condition and working properly except the KEYBOARD AND THE INTERNET

Can I use external hard drive instead of a CD for system recovery? Because the DVD drive won't open

it might be to late to save your windows, so back up your data asap.
doing so, make you unplug your internet cable, back up all imp. data and reinstall windows on a new formatted HD.
sometimes its just not worth trying to save your OS as files and programs have already been zapped.
as for spydig, i have never heard of it and would not trust it.

I brought it on Best Buy Geek Squad and they told me that it's a hardware problem. Do you think the virus broke those? Because they fail when the virus attack my computer, but I don't think a virus can destroy a hardware.

Since it has a warranty for faulty product I didn't tell them that it had viruses, so they will repair it for free.

I haven't heard of a virus destroying hardware yet. Mainly they just break the integrity of your operating system.

hey sounds like you host file has been changed or deleted have you checked this?
and have you checked keyboard settings, i dont know what os you have so i will simply go through the windows 7 steps. clock start, control pannel, view by: small icons, go to region and language, keyboards and languages, check keyboards and make sure there is a language in here. also i surgest you run a scan with hitman pro (5 antimalware scanners in 1 ) http://www.surfright.nl/en/hitmanpro/

nope, haven't reformatted it yet but I will. I will buy an external hard drive to store most of the data that I have then reformat it.
If you do that, the virus might go along with your file transfer to the external HDD. Try to bring that computer to a computer technician/programmer. They can do much better since they are infront of your infected computer.

I can say that it's such a powerful virus.

There's no more virus, I'm sure of it because there's nothing wrong on the window, the only thing that's damaged is "where you plug in the keyboard" and the internet connection not connecting which the technician claimed to be also hardware issue. Also, I only backed up the games and saves.

As far as your internet connection goes, the infection may have corrupted it and you just need to run winsockxp fix. So, can you get a keyboard to work at all on the machine, like a usb keyboard? Try running combofix on it like I suggested earlier. Post the logfile when its done running.

Re

Try to reconnect your keyboard. May be your keyboard does not work due to improper connection. After reconnecting restart your PC and see if that troubleshoot it. If still not, try to update the device drivers. Visit the manufactures web site for the latest driver available for your keyboard.
About your Internet problem, Can you please tell which connection you are using? Are you using wireless?

The Geek Squad said they can fix it for $129 because the internet problem is a software problem (Microsoft 6to4 adapter[Gateway]) . For the keyboard problem it got fixed after returning it to me. But I'll just fix the internet myself by system recovery.
