I just got the new AIM update

And it makes it when you log in to your account it opens an IE window that goes to AOL.com. How do I get rid of it?

When you sign on, go to edit options > edit preferences > under categories select "Sign On/Off" > and uncheck "Show AIM Today window at sign on"

I have a question about gaim...is it a "gnome" only app? I use KDE and I never can get gaim to work. Therefore I just stick with "kopete" and it works fine.

This is why i have the old versoin, and also modifyed a file with a guide from the internet so it doesn't show the ad at the top.

that would be sweet! i am stickin with an older version for now, but i have noticed they started playing videos in the adspace! how annoying is that?!?!
