I lost my Sony Vaio recovery disc

Hi,

I have a Sony Vaio PCV-RX550 desktop computer, when I turn it on, it gives me the error message "Boot failure, please insert system disc and then press ENTER" I put in my windows xp disc in, but then the message keeps popping up. I don't have the recovery disc for Sony, can someone please help me to install the windows xp on this system? Any suggestion is greatly appreciated.

I got sony to post me one as my laptop didnt get it and it got bricked. Register your Vaio and contact Vaio Ink

They should send you a disk if you contact them. If not, ask MS. Get the right version and SP version though.
