pixil shading, and 64 MB Hardware T&L-compatible video card (256 MB recommended)


basically i want to run act of war by atari and my card met all the package requirements but after i install the game it said my geforce 4 128mb mx400 wasnt enough but some 64 mb card were :confused:

i dont have alot of money to sink into another card so please recomend something inexpensive, hopefully well under $100.

i do have agp, sorry i should have mentioned that :D
but i did hear some gateway techs (i own a gateway) say that the ati radion cards dont like gateway. any other cards you would recomend or is that impossible? :confused:
 
I dont see why ati cards would not work in a gateway but if you got your mind set on nvidia let me see what I can fine.

I cant find the exact specs on this card but if it like how geforce 5700 suppose to be it not terriable. Even thoe I still think the radeon 9600pro a better choise.

It a little above your budget but best I can do. If you decide you want to keep it under 100 and you wont take a radeon the geforce 5700 FX your best bet. DONT GET THE GEFORCE 5700LE Version. make sure you get the geforce 5700 none LE.
 
you could also go for a xfx 6200 256 mb, it works pretty fine here, and it is cheap :)
about 80 dollars (well, i bouth it for 90 euries here)
