Download and install AVICodec, and load the video file into it. That should tell you whether the video file's supported, and if not then details of what codec is required.
i really need help now avicode didnt work it comes up with an error message, also one of the files types is .bin and one is an image file but i tried to burn the image file and error message came up,
but this is a strange thing because when i open up the .bin in vlc or nero showtime it plays but it not the correct codec
That combined with the fact that it has a .bin extension, sounds very much like you didn't obtain the movie from a legitimate source. If that's the case, then you're on your own.
"g spot codec info" is free and it works pretty much the same. start g spot, open the file and it tells you if u have the right codecs or what is needed. google it or get it from a freeware site
