I need a GREAT capture card driver.

I am using a AVerTV Go 007 Plus and the driver that came with it is a piece. When it records, it often eventually gets a lag in between the voice and the video. The channels are never what they're supposed to be. (15 is 7, 70 is 54, etc.) Also when I record it just stops at random times. It's not a problem with the RAM as the support consultant told me a lot, because I have 960. (Signature may be not up to date). What do you recommend?

The channel probably sounds more like a software issue(not driver). The audio problem is more of a computer issue. RAM won't really affect the performce, unless you're way under the requirement. That card uses your sound card for audio, so it's quite easy for everything to get out of sync. My guess is you're trying to use too high or a compression/quality/resolution setting.

It's all on default settings. And for the video/audio not in sync, as soon as I hit Forward/Backward on Mozilla Firefox I can see that it freezes for a quick second. This causes more and more lag inbetween the voice/video every time I hit it.

I still say the settings are probably too high. Your card has no hardware buffer, so everything relies on your computer. Once your computer falls behind, so does the video. Why don't you try some other programs to see how they work. Sometimes their buffering systems work better than the default software. I know Media Player Classic has a real basic option(Open Device and select your card) videohelp.com should have a good few players avaliable too.
