I need a new laptop - what would you offer for this one, used?

This one is being offered (private seller) for $750.... What do you think? I appreciate your advice as I want to get a good deal (or a fair deal).... What is it worth? Supposedly she bought it a month ago but then someone gave her a desktop and so she doesn't use this and wants to sell it. Has box etc.

I like speed and ability to store but I don't do gaming or watching DVDs or anything.

I'm a bit naive when it comes to figuring out what I need and what it is worth. You all have given me great advice in the past and I really appreciate your advice now! Should I go for a deal on this or better to buy new? (I've been a Dell girl so going Toshiba is different for me.)

Not worth it. Don't even try running vista on a laptop that has less than a Gb of memory. And Toshibas are almost as reliable as Dells... lol
The 200m graphics are bottom of the line and won't run any decent games.

Thanks very much. I kinda figured as much when I started trying to comp it against others.

Off to figure out what to get...

Thanks!

I Gota Great Similar One I love from geeks.com with XP

I just bought a Toshiba Satellite A105-S4334 Refurbished notebook from Geeks.com that I love with XP media center. It's in flawless perfect condition came with 2 GB RAM, 160 GB HD, dual 2 core, 15.4 widescreen & they did a great job with the software too. Very light. The battery works great but holds about a 3 hour charge. I got it for $799 plus I bought an extended 2 year warranty for another $192 or so. See www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=PSAA8U-14M02KZ-R&cat=NBB
It comes with the battery but for some reason they didn't put it in their listing.
