hi,

I really need a new PC but Im not sure what one to get.

I'm just going to buy the Base unit.

I would like to play games, record using cubase (2gig of ram), surf the internet and download lots and lots of movies, games and music.

I mabie have about £500 or so but thats flexable.

thanks.

I might build one myself.

What do you all think about the sunbeam transformer case?

also, I'd stick in a 200gb hard drive
DVD RW
2gig of RAM
whatever watt of PSU

I dunno about motherboards?

hmm, i dont think I am going to build a PC anymore.

I did see a PC in the shops that had this spec.

AMD 3800+ dual core processor, 1 gig of RAM, 250gb hard drive, DVD re writer, DVD rom drive, floppy drive, card reader, nvidea 256mb graphics card

it is £600.

I cant remember everything exactly.

What do you all think?

Not to bad, just try to find out the video card specs if you can.

what PC case do you guys recomend?
thoI was wanting one of those ones that have a glass (plastic) panel that you can see through with cathode lights but I now understand that they are impractical and get old quickly?

So, what would be the best case for me to get. I no longer care about fancy lights and shit like that.

The Thermaltake Mambo is a great case and not to flashy. It's only around $40.

as i am not a dedicated gamer, I could allways buy one later on.

If the motherboard has intergrated graphics, then you don't need a card, but if it doesn't than you have to have some kind of graphics card.
