I need a non-violent FPS

Ok I really like FPSes and I'm thinking about buying counter strike but my dad is a navy vet so games like that bother him. I was wondering if there is any way to get rid of the guns firing and people dying and anything else thats violent in any way. If there is no way to do that can you reccomend some game (not just FPSes) for pc that are fun and that don't have any violence (I guess futuristic games would be ok) just as long as it doesnt have blood and its not a realistic war game.
EDIT: ok dont they have some skin thingy for cs:s? do they have any star wars ones that also change the sounds and stuff? I would just get star wars battlefront 2 but I heard its really laggey online.

pacman was a crazy back in he day. Only violence is him eating the ghosts... which could be considered dying...
 
You could see if there's any paintball games out there. I have a pretty old one, but its still as fun as the day I got it :).

I'd rather hit myself in the head with a hammer. paintball doesnt sound too fun in real life so I don't think its fun as a game but I will consider it. trizoy how are you posting if you dont have a pc? should I start listing the types of games I like?

wow, tough break, I'm in the navy and love killing games lol.

Try RTS like starcraft or Empire at war or Age of empires III.

Or, any of the need for speed games are fun racing games.

Or, Elder Scrolls Oblivion just came out, you really aren't killing anything too "real" so it's all fantasy anyway,
 
Elder Scrolls: Morrowind is pretty cool (Not Multiplayer) it's 10$ at Wal-Mart, it's a RPG but there is battling in it. But its knights like swords and axes type of thing and you can make it first person.

There isn't any guns or any sort, just knights and so forth.

There really isn't any cool games that doesn't contain violence unless you like to play games like pinball and so forth...

well he saw things....well lets just say bad things. I'm not really into rts I got grand turismo and played it until I couldnt stand racing games and I like RPGs but im impatient so I can never play for a long time. I like flying on BF2 so maybe a flight simulator or something. Killing is ok as long as its not realistic war knife them and blood spays everywhere type killing. I will consider elder scrolls. maybe unreal tournament there isnt much blood and stuff in that is there?

its ok I can play during the daytime (like now) and also he goes to school so I still get to play just not as much But if there is a skin like a star wars one then I could play all the time and thats what I am trying to find. even if its stupid like a barbie theme (not so much barbie) I'll still use it just as long as I can take it off easily.
 
Maybe the starwars jedi knight series? Its mostly futuristic saber combat against aliens. The tiny bit of violence is that sometimes peoples arms fall off... not sure if thats too much.

no no it can be futuristic violence thats ok. One problem its not for Pc

hmm its not at ebgames or gamestop. amazon.com maybe? ok I found it at amazon.com but all they have is used. how old is this game?
 
You need to consider what a good game entails...
A good game is what you would not normally do in your day to day events...

Killing just seems to be a big part of this. There are paintball mods for games like CS, where you shoot paint balls... You could do that and find a respawn server so it seems as though your not killed, just respawned. In other words pacman is your only choice.

lol no it just needs to not have any dying noises and no gun noises or realistic gunfights. paintball mod would be nice if when people die they dont scream or groan in pain or anything like that. can I have a website for the paintball mod?
