I need a setup for a computer:

Around $500
Meant for video editing
Amd Athlon dual core 6000+

What do u think i should get

any other things that you need????
Where are you in the world.

You need:
  • Monitor
  • Box
  • Speakers
  • Keyboard and Mouse

everything???

If so, that is a very tight budget for what your going to need!

$500 would be good for the box, but not including monitor and stuff

cohen, he said that the 500 dollar budget was for the box only, he said he had the monitor, mouse, keyboard, and speakers. You can put together a budget build, you said so in a previous post.

oh right, i miss read it, i need to start fresh and take time! :mad:

Daisy's looks like a pretty good one for your budget. Just a quick question, why did you choose 64 Bit? It don't find it all that useful in video editing and day to day usage. Not much difference from 32 Bit.

If you can stretch your budget a bit more, I would recommend more RAM for editing videos. What software are you using?
