I need all of the good programs/apps for windows 95 (not games and pref programming)

I have this really old laptop that I am going to try to soop up with all of the latest apps and stuff. But is has 95 so if you guys know of good apps (preferibly programming oriented) that they have for 95 I would really appreciate it.
 
You may have a hard time finding any good apps for windows 95. You could always install Linux (for free) and get just as good of apps or even better (for free).
 
just put ubuntu on it and it comes with software built in. what kind of programming software are you looking for?
 
Eh I dont want linux if I would have wanted linux I would have asked. I already have ubuntu. But this is an older laptop and it has 95 and I want apps for the 95 not for linux ( I would have asked for it on another thread.)
 
I have an old Pentium I box that runs Win95 that I got in 2001. Even back then, it was tough to find software for programming that didn't need at least 98SE. Now, I'm guessing it'll be darn near impossible for a no-longer-supported OS.

Like more specifically, what kind of program are you looking for. Maybe list a couple few(compatible with 95 or not) so that we have a general idea. Then maybe we can start from there so that we kind of have an idea of what types of programs you want.
 
I am looking for programming apps. Like vb or any other programming language compilers that I can use on there. If there are any languages or apps for 95. Make sence?
