Hi guys,
My sister has an Iphone 5c, and has changed the password many times recently.
She's forgotten her passcode to log onto the phone, and kept trying it, the phone has then apparently locked itself and she now needs to re-activate the phone.
My mum and sister have been down to the apple store to try and fix it, as well as calling apple twice, no resolution.
When I run the phone up I get a 'Hello' screen, swipe to continue, then arrive at an 'Activate iPhone' screen, asking for both the apple ID and password.
My sister doesn't know the Apple ID/email address or password for the account to sign on.
Apple have said to connect the phone to iTunes, remove the device from the account and create a new device. but this doesn't work (according to mum and my sister).
At this point I'd like to know the next step to take.
I will connect the phone to iTunes (or try to) and see what happens.
Could I please have a step by step guide on how to reset an apple ID account /iPhone over iTunes?
I've Browsed the internet and haven't yet found anything that has worked, Apple ID and password apparently non-existent.
Alternatively, is there any way I can reflash this phone, so that the device is diss-associated from the Apple ID?
