toddl1 New Member Feb 24, 2006 #1 I have pulled an ancient computer ou of the shed and i am attempting to install windows on it. That is all very jolly, but MY DOS WILL NOT RECOGNISE MY CD DRIVE. Usually it's path is g: but it just says it doesn't exist help! what am i to do??

Seth New Member Feb 24, 2006 #2 Are you sure that its all plugged in together properly? Does it power up at all eg. does the Cd drive light flash when you turn the computer on?
