i need help installing new ide hdd

I am running dual boot operating systems and 1hdd is a sata and the other is a quatum bigfoot. I replaced the quantum with a western digital ide 30.5gig and now when i boot i get PCI.SYS-adressF75FEOBF base atF75F700, date stamp 3b7d855c blue screen error can someone please help?

my system is:
Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit on sata drive
Windows XP Home Edition on bigfoot IDE
mobo pcchips p29g
cpu intel duo core p4 3.6
memory PQI ddr2 turbo 4gig dual channel
videocard his radeon x1650 pro pci-express 128bit 512 onboard ddr 600mhz GPU
sata 1 327gig segate
IDE was quantum bigfoot8.4 trying to replace w/westerndigital 30.5IDE
cd/dvd rom
linksys 2.4 pci wireless-g

if one of your os was on the quantum hdd do this: 1.boot up using the original configuration(with the quantum). open boot.ini and remove the line reffering to the os on the quantum hdd. if this is not working goto step 2
2. if you no longer have the quantum hdd. boot up from dos using a recovery disk and open c:\boot.ini and remove the line reffering to the os on the quantum hdd.

3. boot using windows cd. use repair tool. use fix boot, and fix mbr commands.

when i plyg in the wd hard drive i get the error msg even if i try to boot normaly on the sata drive
it goes blue during boot process

heyyyy i was talking about the quantum hdd, not the wd!!! didn't you read the above?
