I Need help with my computer moniter

Hey guys, I've been trying to build a gaming computer, but I kinda messed up.

So the things I was adding to my computer was:

  • 450 Watt Power Supply
  • 9800 gt, 1gb gddr3 graphics card (Requires 400 watts of power)

So to start off, I was putting all the things in, only to realize I put an extra wire into my hardrive, I kept on getting a "disk boot" error which of coarse means the hardrive was not working. Turns out, I frieded the hardrive, it also turns out i needed a larger power supply if i was going to run everything properly. Then, I returned my power supply, and got an even more high powered one which had 550 Watts of power. I also got a replacement hardrive since the other was fried. I now have:

  • 550 Watt Power Supply
  • 9800 gt, 1gb gddr3 graphics card (Same as the above, never changed it)
  • A replacement Hardrive (500 gb of memory) (I also got recovery disks for it from the HP website)

Now I connected everything, making sure everything was in its place. Everything was working fine, the hardrive was spinning, the power supply was working, the fans were spinning, and the graphics card wsa plugged in and running. The only problem was now my moniter was not getting an input signal! I am using a VGA cord.

Have any ideas what the problem might be? (Oh yea, i know it is not the moniter b/c I tried another moniter with a different cord and it still is not getting a signal.)

Here a picture of the things I have if this helps:

Tell me if you need any other pictures, or information.

Thanks for your help,

Kyle
