i need help with my desktop computer but i dont what for?

okey heres the problem:last night my power went pooof in otherwords my power went out and naturally my computer instantly turned off.
my problem is this it wont work.
i start it and it sounds just the same and when i look in the pc while tunring it on no problem accept that nothing comes up on my screen it says no connection.
oh and i have a asus rampage formula motherboard and that comes with a little monitor that shows if somthings wrong it says (DET DRAM)
what does that mean?
detecting dram?
i need help fast.

Seems like some good info there. Since your pc worked before the power went out I am going to say you have and issue with the memory sticks themselves (one or more) or that the power outage caused you to cook your mobo. Do you have your pc plugged right to the wall or do you have a surge protector? Not just a power strip but something with protection.

If you have all the slots full then try putting sticks in only the blue or only the white slots. I dont know which ones are 1&2 -3&4. Good luck.

Try unplugging your Power Supply, hit the power button a few times to discharge it. Reset the bios on the board, then turn the Power Supply back on and try to boot and see what happens.
