Okay guys please help aboiut 3 weeks ago my fan went out, i ordered a new one then a week later it came in. So, then i was getting cpu failure problems because i peeled 2 pieces of tape off the motherboard and components were touvh things so i taped that up. later when i put my pc together i tore the ribbon cable on my power button so i had to order a power button that came in friday i got it all put back together turned on mny laptop, booted up call of duty waw zombies and about an hour after being on the screen flickered then just started rapidly flickkering then shut down Please help i dont know whats wrong. Oh and feel free to correct anything in paragraph i dont proofread.

Doesn't sound like you were too careful with anything since you broke a ribbon cable.
Did you apply new thermal paste to the CPU and chipset after removing the old thermal paste from the heatsink? It sounds like your laptop is overheating.
