I need overclocking advice

I have recently overclocked my AMD athlon 64 3000 to 2.5 GHZ and i am wondering if it would be possible to push it even further or just stay put.I am ruuning it on a gb k8ns-pro-939 with 512mb pc3200 corsair ram.The fsb is running at 278 and the ht multiplier is set on 3x.The current voltage is at 1.45 volts. The idle temp is at a cool 25 degrees.Any advice would be great as i am afraid that if i push it further that i may fry it :)

Do have a look at OC 101.

A 700MHz OC is pretty impressive .. you may be able to push it more yet :) What core are you running?

im running a venice core.i just attempted to play ut 2004 and it freezes at random intervals, how could i fix this?

clock the cpu a b9it back.... what cooler are you using? (could be your CPU overheating. )
either that up your vcore or vdimm
Need to tell what causing the crash. Run a memtest to see if its your ram.
that chips default vcore is 1.35-1.40 V so you've still got some room

Oh no wait! its running at 26 degrees idle! :) Well maybe its because my case has plenty of ventalation, and maybe because my room is like a freezer.

Ok,i upped the vdim voltage and that seems to have fixed the problem.I have now pushed the cpu fsb to 280,and still havent got much of a heat change (33 degrees),not even during ut 2004.
