I need the live cd of windows xp professional!!!!

Hi, I need the live cd of this windows... I have the licence and everything but I dont have the disk..Im trying to download it from the internet...but the sites I downloaded it doesnt work... do you know any site that works? A recovery disk will work? cause I dont know anyone that has this windows...

Any version of Windows XP you download from the internet will be an illegal copy.

What computer do you have? You may have a recovery partition.
 
well, I just bought one...My uncle gave me the codes of the windows of his company...and I cant get the cd because he is in Spain... Is there any form to get a legal copy?I bought a recovery cd...that would work?

That's not legal either.

But, if you have a recovery disc for your computer, that is all you need.

Yes this question is against forum rules
You cannot download Windows (except obviously Windows 7 for the last ~ year I think)

But if your computer is a brand labelled computer (HP or Dell; etc etc etc..)
You can order a Recovery disc at a minimal (way below retail) cost
BUT, you still require the real OEM Windows key

Hmm, this thread should really be closed by a Mod I feel

Yes a Recovery CD from your computer manufacture will work
But you must own the Windows and have the key ("stamped on a sticker on the side of the computer case")
 
I didnt explain it fine.. My situation is that my uncle bought the original win xp professional through his company, it was cheaper that way, I have the key but not the cd..and the shipping would be like 10 or more euros...and will be here in one or two weeks...and I need it know..so I was searching in the microsoft page if theres something it would work to install the windows...if not, where could I get it?thanks!!

You need the disc and the key that came with it.

Why would your Uncle keep the disc? Did he already install it on his computer?
