This is a question about OUTLOOK account "contacts".

Yes, there is more behind the question than meets the eye, and I have dead ended in several attempts to get it answered. Please help if you can.

Point Blank:

My wife had a contact on her Palm cell phone, that was able to Hot Sync with her Outlook account. I requested she delete the contact, and she agreed, and did so. It had a creation date of last year (in properties). The contact subsequently resurfaced with a completely new creation date in the current year, in a sub folder in the contacts section of the Outlook account. I asked her about it, and she told me that her account does funny things, and it must have created it without her knowledge when she deleted the first one.

Is this possible? Or would one have to physically have created the new contact card?

Thanks for your time.

If she did not delete it from here computers contact list it could have resurfaced.. OR if she had it in anothe rplace, it could have come back...

Look, ill ask her to stop calling me...

Welcome to the forum!

Thanks for making me laugh anyway! In the properties of the file, the original, which was deleted, had a created date in 2006. The new file had a created date and modified date that were post deletion. It would seem that it would have to have the same creation date as the original and a new modified date.

Any opinions welcome, but thanks.
