i-omega eternal HD thinks its a removable type drive

Started an xfer of my entire C: hard drive to my i-omega external drive and about 5 min. into the xfer it had an error and aborted the xfer. Now when I try to check on the drive using the Computer program it sees all my drives, but not the i-omega external dive F . Using device manager it shows the drive to be there and lists it as working OK. I can't format it under device manager because there is no menu option to do so--so how do you reformat the drive using some other method??? Good question Help Motzey
 
which drive do you have? and how is it connected? usb/fw/ethernet

try power cycling the drive... i have a iomega network hard drive that would lock up and it needed a reboot. I just updated the firmware in the thing hoping that will fix the problem.
