hi i have been given a ipod touch, that is blocked ( saying disabled connect to i tunes) i have tryed manualy restoring it while holding down the menu button and connecting to usb lead. i have tryed this nurmerous times with no joy is there an easy way to sort this problem out as i need to be able to use it for the weekend?????. many thanks and hope this can be solved.
 
have you tried plugging it into itunes and restoring it? I tend to find with apple products if you do what it asks you to then it works.
 
i tunes isnt reconizing the ipod when i plug it in?? i have tryed the plug in, hold menu and sleep button, wait for apple icon, let go sleep, till screen changes, but when the message on computer should come up mine dosnt despite how long i hold it down for??? its like my NEW itunes account dosnt reconize the ipod!!!
 
Did you try force shutting the iPod down (power + home) and then hold down the home button to force it into recovery mode?
 
no cant do nothing, just saying i pod is disabled connect 2 itunes.. tryed forcing recovery mode but nothing, have now got new lead. tryed every usb port and nothing, its weird why my itunes is not regester ipod is plugged in?????
