there are 3 different colored "sockets". blue is for the monitor, the green one has a symbol that looks like l0l0l, and the pink one i think is a printer?

im just wondering what the green one is for, if anyone knows what im talking about at all

I would guess headphones/speakers

do you have a camera or could you find a picture online of what the socket looks like?

Modem, is the one thats shaped like a phone jack. Is that what youre talking about?
In that pic, its the one closest to the bottom.
Ethernet, which is what i think you may have misread it to be, is not green usually, and is also shaped like a phonejack, just sorta flater.

The circle socket is mini audio (1/8 inch). If its green, i would expect its an output. Plug some headphones into it and play a sound. If you hear the sound, its your headphone/speaker output.
