I screwed up my router

Here's my problem. I'm working with a netgear wireless router i think its this one.. I was trying to set it up for my house, but one of my computers was having trouble recognizing it. My friend suggested i do a hard reset.

I pressed the reset button for five seconds.

And behold! It no longer does anything. well, not nothing. It fails the check that it does i think. Like...it'll turn on, and the internet light will blink accordingly. Then a little checklight will turn on...but the wireless light will not turn on. Thats veryyy veryyy bad. :(.

what do i do? Hard resets aren't really working anymore and I don't have any other options i know of.

update firmware...

Always a good first step, netgear is pretty good about updates.

Download the firmware, access your router from your computer (ensure its connected). probably 192.168.0.1, default login is most likely: admin , password: password

Find where it says router upgrade, than you click browse and find the firmware and upload it.

Make sure you have the exact version of your router pinned down, wrong firmware will ensure no worky :-P .
