lelt my pc runing last night as i always do, any way i woke up this morning, turned on the moniter and it was stuck on the boot screen so i turned it off. i then went back to it to find nothing happens. All the fans start up and so on but there is nothing going to the screen and there are 2 or 3 beeps from the motherboard. it is not the moniter or the graphics card because i have used other ones.
I tryed to run is with out the cd drives and floppy drive but that didn't make any difference.
i asked my dad if he would let me throw it out of my window and claim insurance, now he's lafin at me because i cant us it

Seems like memory error, but it would be better if you tell us exactly how many beeps are.
 
try reseating the video card,
dose your computer give you one long beep and then 2 short beeps if so then it maybe a video card problem.
 
what make is your pc? have a look at the power light on the front of the pc when you turn it on, and say if it is showing a different colour.

if it is showing a different colour, try unplugging video cards, ram, hard drives etc from the mother board and trun the pc on again, if it satys the same colour your motherboard may have failed!
 
it's not a video card problem i've used others and tryed mine in an other pc (it worked), by the look of things it the mother boad ime on a buget wot could i get
 
Before buying a new mobo, turn the computer on and tell us how many beep you hear (also their durations if different).
