I think I have a codec problem.

I'm thinking I have a problem with my video codecs. Videos on YouTube and various other video sites (like MegaVideo and Youku) will just spontaneously freeze at times. I can get it to resume if I move it to another part in the clip but then it may freeze again shortly after.

I don't even know where to begin with this one. I'm assuming it's the codecs but that's only because it's the only thing I know that could affect this kind of thing. I have the Community Codec Pack installed.

Also I don't know if this is related or not (they seem separated by may not be) but sometimes my audio will just cut out. My computer will no longer recognize that I have audio capability on my computer (either onboard or via my sound card) and I have to restart to get the audio back. Not sure what's up with that but it doesn't happen often and I can't nail any specific pattern to it.

Nope. Its not codec problem. It adobe flash plugin problem. Try update your adobe flash player plugin..

Hrm...that makes sense actually. Had some problems with that in the past.

Tell me something: how do I get the Mozilla Adobe flash plugin? The first time I went to the adobe website, a popup came up to install it and I allowed it but then clicked cancel. Now I can't get it back to install it properly (I went through a roundabout method that kinda sorta worked [obviously]). Or is that even necessary?
