I think my PSU is ruining my computer.

Hello.
I've had some problems recently regarding my computer. Almost since the day I bought my PSU I've heard some weird frequency noise coming from the PSU after I shut down my computer. It's been very annoying but I've kinda ignored it for a year or so.
Today I noticed my Video Card blinked red on It's side, telling me it's not getting enough power. That's what I think. All my three fans in the computer don't work as well. I've been changing a lot of components recently, but without any good result.
I know think it's the PSU which is causing trouble.

Please help.

Its a Corsair CX600.

Some specs:

CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 3,4 GHz
GPU: AMD Radeon 6950 HD
Motherboard: Not sure exactly, but made from American Megatrends Inc. The version on it is 5.02

Some corsair CX units will make a sound like that. I would contact Corsiar and rma it for a replacement.

Check you have reconnected the PCIe cable into the card. The sound you hear is coil whine, and is not good. RMA as john said.

What does a coil whine actually mean?

I used to get it on my old 600w Tagan, but that was a high end supply at the time that cost me nearly $200. What is the reason for the whine?

Also, is it bad for graphics cards too? I know many cards have the problem too :)

Its the frequency running through the coil that can set off a resonance thats causes the whine. It really does nothing but can drive you crazy. Its mostly exposed coils that do it.
