i think that my sp2 firewall is blocking my net in my home..plz help

i tried to make an home net and pluged my computer to my other computer
but i can get to the internet from the other computer
i think that my sp2 firewall is blocking the net in my home
i want to fix it do you think that i need to open ports?
or some other way that i can fix this fu**ing promblem?

Try disabling the firewall. If you can get online, that's the problem. And get a better firewall, Zonealarm and kerio are free for home use.
 
If there are any ports to open it will be port 80. but i doubt that that is the probelm. port 80 is used for http and tcp/ip so you will be able to sghare documents between the two pc's too with port 80 open.

As BUZZ said, try disabling the firewall and fiddling around with settings here and there, just make a system restore point before you start because tinkering is usually disasterous.
 
i disabeld the the firewall and it still not working
i disabeld it and puted outpost but the internet in the other computer is still blocked for internet use
can u explain my how can i open ports in sp2?
where to go and how to open?
and ther is not chanses that somebody will break to my computer beacuse this port is open?
 
If turning off the firewall didn't work, its not the firewall. Try posting in Computer Networking, say exactly what setup you're using.
 
Wait from that image I am guessing the two computers are networked through ethernet and your internet is dialup, If I a wrong correct me but I dont think you can so this.
