Hi, welcome to the forum! Be sure to introduce yourself in the welcome thread and check out the rules :)

What are you trying to connect to (Router? other computer?)

I ve got problem

It's WiFi not router I've got wireless network. There are AP1 and AP4. Both are not working. I don't know what to do. I typed right IP address but I dont know whats wrong.

do you have a wireless key? and did you put it in correctly? one thing you can do is look on your ipconfig, find your default gateway then type that in your browser and see if it comes up with anything

Ive got a problem

I have 54Mbps 802.11g Wireless PC Card
Wi-Fi Compliant with IEEE 802.11b/g Standards.
About wireless key all I could find is:
Physical address: 00-18-E7-04-31-45
IP Adress: 169.254.61.238
Subnet Mask 255.255.0.0
I dont have any key for my PC card.

I have a question

I have IP Address: 192.168.5.34
and Default Gateway 192.168.5.1
Witch address do I have to type tools-intenet options field?

I'm not to sure on what exactly the situation is but I'm guessing your at home trying to connect to your wireless router via your desktop PC?

If there is another PC on the network, use that to access your router to find out the type of security you have and if its WEP what the key is.

You will be able to access the router by opening IE, firefox or what ever explorer you have, put the Default Gateway address in and hitting enter. e.g.
192.168.5.1

Bearing in mind your router is not password protected you should be able to find out everything you need on there.

EDIT: also while trying to connect, turn off any firewall software you are running just until your connected. That can also be a problem.

What computer are you using? What are you trying to connect to? Wireless router? Did you set it up? Are you using any kind of encryption? Are you using static IPs? We need more information to be able to help.

Assuming you are using a wireless router, I would reset the router, set your wireless card to DHCP and try to connect. Then go about changing to static IPs if thats what you're trying to do and add your encryption ect.

I've got a problem

Ok here is the thing. Now that I got connected on AP1 i'm so confused.
Internet pages won't open to me.
Like I said I have 54Mbps 802.11g Wireless PC Card
Yes I have Gateway Laptop winXP program installed. There sould be all ok but it won't. How come so that some places I get connected easily but some don't. I mean Wi-Fi should work everywhere the same.
I asked some friend and he said that Default gateway is the right one not the IP address. But It wont't work on my PC. Still I found the right address by typing the same one that my friend using. AP4 works in some places but What about AP1. My PC tries first to connect always AP1. I click view Wireless network and click AP4 and then it might be connect. Some places it works mome not.
