I wanna make my desktop like a web-page

Hey to all,


as You know, we can make our Windows desktop like html page.
But - I need to add to it some javascript, for hiding and showing some <div> layers -
it will help me working, just click on link and open a layer with phones, for example, click once more and close it.

It is not a problem for me, to make such page. But - when I click on it, it opens me IE page with javascript error.

Can You please help, how can I make this html page working on my desktop, not in IE?

Content wise, make sure it has all been hosted on a server and not just on your desktop - otherwise you would be the only one who could see it in its full form.

what do you mean - on the server....

i need to make html page with layers, and just click on them.
you mean, i should keep all the content on the server?


but there are only text there..
