I want to clone my hard drive to upgrade it size wise. How?

I want to clone my IBM think-pad's 70GB drive so I can continue using my PC as normal with a new 320GB drive containing everything exactly how it was. What is the best program to use, and how exactly do I do it quickly? Thanks in advance

What brand is your new hard drive? If western digital, use their drive cloning software.

You can try using clonezilla.

When you clone a drive, it copies the entire hard drive over to the new drive.

If you buy a western digital drive you can use their cloning software which is their version of acronis true image. And as voyager has said it clones the whole drive. You clone the original, unplug original, boot to the new drive and it loads windows just like the old one did.
