I'm not sure what SCSI is...I don't know if it's another name for EDI or not...but I know SATA>EDI. Sorry...not much help.

SCSI or "scuzzy" as it's often pronounced, is just another interface used by drives. It is most common in servers, as many of them can be linked together with one cable, where as with IDE, you can only have 2 drives per cable, and SATA with 1 drive per cable. SCSI also supports higher transfer rates that IDE, I believe, which is why you see 15K RPM SCSI drives and only 10K IDE drives. If you are building a computer, unless you are a serious gamer or wanting to build a server, SATA is the way to go.

SCSI is just another drive interface. It's more for your high-end systems, not your typical computer. A good SATA drive will be plenty.

SCSI drives allow for up to 15K RPM, allowing for faster access times which equal much faster load times. Really only for people with lots of money to waste.

thank you all for so much advices,i am so appreciated...i believe i can build a better after you help.thanks really!!!
