I want to Kill

Im looking for a program that will kill a process NO MATTER WHAT. I often run into annoying little apps viewable in taskmanager but when I try to end them they respond with some error message. What I want it to do is exactly what I tell it, delete the task. I guess its sort of like Dr. Delete only for deleting running processes instead of inert files. Also I would be interested in any program that lets me configure my start up list, Im just not happy with msconfig and that doesnt always work anyway. thanx alot
 
Um... I believe that those you cannot terminate in the task manager are necessary to running windows, and msconfig should pretty much do anything that you want it too... what kind of problems have you had with it?
 
Most of what I am refering to is probably spyware of some sort. Im not sure of its function but it usually has some wierd name and appears out of the blue (I usually am familiar with all of the programs running in the background) in tskmngr so i know its not essential. As for msconfig I have similar problems, something will start on logon and when I try to uncheck it, it just re-checks itself next boot. Regardless, I want to have the ability to be the ultimate arbiter when it comes to whats running on my computer. Im looking for a "force quite" type thing that will end a process no matter what its doing.
 
^ if spyware is your problem, I think you're better off solving the problem by getting a spyware cleaner and a good antivirus. And a firewall.
 
well maybe, but most of the programs Ive used tend to be a little over zealous in what they allow to run. Ive never used one that I completely liked. I just want to delete what I want...
