I want to log disk I/O

Hi. I'd like to log the I/O of my hard disk. Resource monitor has a nice disk activity section that's exactly what I'm looking for, but unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a way to write the activity to a file. Is there? If there isn't, then what should I do?

OK. How do I view the file operations? Right now all it displays are coloured lines, which looks pretty but is not very useful.

You're not going to find anything that monitors file i/o. Why do you want to do that anyway?
