I want upgrade my BIOS if possible

I bought some memory and a harddrive not thinking about if the BIOS would accept the larger products. I figured that this chipset had been used through 2002 I believe and the BIOS date is 1999 so there must be a flash available. Can somebody look at what i got and confirm I am going to load the correct BIOS flash. I beleive I need this flash- link . ANy thoughts?

I can't attach the BMP I have of the screen shot due to size constraints. It is a i440BX/ZX chipset.

It's a laptop and I really don't want to crack the case. I just want to make sure I am loading the correct the BIOS.
 
Use Eversest, its a free program that will tell you averything you need to know about your system, and provide links to all the driver and BIOS updates. I cant remember where i got it, but run a search for EVEREST Home Edition, and it should be there, if not go to majorgeeks.com and find it there.
 
did you not read th whole guide, it gave a second way of identifying the motheboard, you need to pay attention when booting the computer and copy down the serial/code at the bottom
