For Norton Corporate Edition. AVG was pissing me off and i had access to Norton for free through work so I figured I would do it.

Well with corporate products they are updated much more regularly than free products, I'll take Sophos & AVG as examples; AVG updates now and again but Sophos is updated every few hours, literally, so it does make sense if it's free.

I use AntiVir from Avira which is free, it updates on aaverage about 3 times every evening (space of about 4-5 hours). Annoying yes, up-to-date protection YES. so your theory isnt quite correct

Using Avast! Little spinning 'A' on my task bar.
Run Ccleaner every day, scan with ad-aware and spybot s&d.

I am fine...
Lol.

i used to have the mcafee enterprise edition and i really liked it. It didnt slow down my comp and worked really good.

Fix-it utility's pro. Amazing stuff man, amazing stuff. TONS of tools and comes with 3 codes for 3 computers. :)

I have Avast! and it works great. In fact, it just detected a trojan horse automatically from a download I had gotten a few minutes ago. I'm very happy with it.

I went from AVG to Avast, definetly glad I did.

Before any of those I was using Norton. It protected jsut fine, bu it was a real resource hog. It was like running an intense game in the background 24/7, always suckign away my power!

I also use Anti-Vir because they allow you to use their corporate edition at home if you agree to a legal statement to that effect. I also used Norton Corporate when I was at college (provided a license for all students), and have found Anti-Vir to be far superior, especially with it's real-time protection and automatic updates.

I was gonna try Antivir but didnt know if it would be as good as Avast or AVG...well from some user reviews ive seen Antivir wasnt that good:confused:

I am currently using Norton corporate, I haven't had a problem with it but was wonder is Anti-Vir is better/using less resources.
