My budget is around $600-$800, what good quality parts can I purchase with this ammount to create an amazing gaming pc. I want the works, flat screen monitor, liquid cooling system, ati graphics card, cool shell with plexi-glass windo and pimped out interior, top of the line gaming keyboard and mouse, so what can you hook me up with?

If you want an amazing PC including monitor and LCS, then you're going to have to spend a lot more than $800. I'd say around $1200 at least if you want an amazing gaming rig.

What stores would carry most of these parts, or would this be an online ordering system?

Heres a configuration I put together, it includes a 19" LCD, great gaming keyboard/mouse, and everything else you need for the computer. The total cam e to $840 + shipping, but it would be worth it to spend the extra bucks if you can. If you can't, i would recommend lowering the keyboard and mouse, to buy better parts. Anyways, heres the list of parts:

AMD Athlon 64 3700+ - $96

MSI K8N nForce4 AMD Motherboard - $64

nVidia 7600GS - $89 ($30 Mail-In Rebate)

1GB (2x 512MB) DDR400 CL2 RAM - $110

Samsung 160GB SATAII Hard Drive - $54

Thermaltake Swing Case w/Window - $69

LG Super-Multi DVD+/-RW Drive - $29

Hipro 500W Power Supply - $36

Logitech G15 Gaming Keyboard
- $66

Logitech G5 Gaming Mouse - $49

19" 5ms LCD 700:1 - $180

I can hook you up with a reality check.

i'm sure for 800usd he can still get something very good,he might have to trim some things though
Good luck.

Good attempt Goeff ... unfortunately that's missing a few things:
- Water cooling
- Lexi case
- "pimped out interior"
- ATi videocard
haha (not that i dont think it's a good spec for the price, i think its great ... i just think the budget is silly :P)

Since meeting the actual requirements in all their silliness isnt feasibly doable (other than geoff's suggestion), i'll pretend a reasonable request was made. So, $800, less the $180 on the monitor.
Hmm... so it looks like Core2 is balanced-possible:

Although I suspect an X2 box will be more well rounded

Instead of the 19" LCD omega suggested, save $20 here:

and check deals2buy.com for deals on the mouse and keyboard, i saw a Creative Fatal1ty for $15 a few days ago

That monitor isn't as good. I would pay the extra $20 and get the one I posted.

And with his budget he can't afford an X-Fi.

I know, but I knew that he seriously couldnt get all that stuff with his budget :P

If he didn't have the monitor, I would have went with a dual-core build (specifically the Core 2 Duo).

Just noticed that. But you left out the keyboard, and the case and power supply are far from good. But i guess thats what you get for that budget if you need all those things :P

Actually I included the keyboard ... and having used the PSU myself, it's not that bad... nothing fancy, but that's what you get for this price brakcet

Hey, stop making fun of my made up price range, I just threw one out there, if it's that reccomended then I'll get the dual core system, and I'm sticking with geoff's case and monitor. Depending on how much I can spend on this I'll follow either geoff's or praetor's system plan.
