My mother decided to upgrade and I found a buyer for $250 for her old motherboard/memory/cpu so I figured id get her the better option for a extra $150 as a surprise.

*OPTIONAL*
Bracket Kit for the Ximgatek s1283 cooler (Not sure if I want to buy a better cooler or recycle this beast)

Total with kit comes to $410

My question is with the new 1155 boards does the new chipset actually have its own for SATA3 or is it still leeching off the PCI-e channel? The reason I ask is once a SSD hits .50 per GB I will upgrade them and want them to be open for the speeds without limitations. The board I chose I believe fixes the issue but I want to make sure.
The other question is looking at the 1155 coolers they don't look much better than the current Xigmatek S1283 I use on her AMD system now. Would it be wiser to buy a kit and reuse it? Its a quality cooler and I have used one on my Q6600 as well keeps my temps at 55-55-50-50 at 100% load @ 1.35v at 3.2ghz. I hear the new chips run much cooler so in theory should get a 4.0ghz or so without to much hassle maybe :P

Appreciate it. I am mighty tempted to upgrade my own system while I am at it but I can't sucker myself into it yet.

*edit*
The other question is how useful is the "built in" graphics? Would it benefit a gamer with a aftermarket GPU? If not they have a line coming out that wont have it thus save us some green? If not can you disable the GPU if its not helpful so you can perhaps save some heat?

1) Yes she games
2) Overclocking is not a impossible task and unless it is different than the 775/1156 BIOS it should be a small learning curve.
3) Thank you.
4) She has a 650w corsair PSU so all other parts of her system meet/power anything she might want later down.

I also noticed the motherboard selected is not proper on the chipset and would cause problems. P67 board is what I needed not a H67.
