i5 or i7?

I'm out in the market for a new laptop since my current Toshiba Satellite is about to die. I would get a Mac, but for the money I could get something better since I don't mind if I use Windows or OSX for all I care, for me what matters is the hardware.

I'll be using it mostly for photo editing, some light video editing and maybe some games. I do hope that this would last 3-5 years time. For that money, I can only get a bog standard 13" Macbook Pro. :/

btw, is the 360M GPU in the Qosmio good? How good is it over the 310M in the Satellite, there's an option for the 330M as well.
 
This is a close one seems if you are not gaming and want some extra processing power go the i7 with the 512mb nvidia. If you are gaming go the i5 with the 1024 mb nvidia
 
the Satellite with the i7 can be configured so for $60 more I can get a 1gb GDDR3 Nvidia GT 330M. so that would be the better buy? the Toshiba Qosmio with the i7 and 1gb GDDR5 Nvidia GT 360M is a bit out of reach for me. so it's down to those two i posted above.

playing games is just a bonus. i have a ps3 for that. :P
