Anyone know where this is in stock? Also does anyone have a estimate of what OC can be achieved with a thermalright silver arrow?

Overclockwise, you'll be looking at anything up to about 4.8ghz on air depending on your chip.

the 2700k are also cherry picked for top notch oc performance. this thermal right silver arrow performs better than a corsair h60. and its air.

You should save some money and buy the i7-2600k. You do know the i7-2700k's only difference to the 2600k is 100MHz more. Just overclock the 2600k if you want it to perform like the 2700k. Trust me bro, don't waste your money, there's hardly any difference between them.

It's just Intel's way of making more money...

sort of, but not completely.
You see, the way that it works, is that they manufacture the chips all together. Some chips are naturally better than others. Maybe it's because the silicon wafer is better, i don't know.
But, those better chips can run at higher clock speeds and perform faster than other chips that might be a little wrose off.
So, on the surface, it does look like it's only a 100mhz increase, but the CPU is a superior product.

i agree, ive read this on a couple websites, theyre all 2600k's but the quality is top notch for 2700k cpu, due to being hand picked
