Well I think $200 is the least you can spend and at that price not alot to chose from

The gigabyte board looks like its decent for the price, but if you want SLI capbility an evga board is the best bet.
Most X58 boards support SLI, including this GB board.

Oh, ok, didnt know that, maybe i should learn a little more about the X58 boards lol.
lol. There are a few that don't. They require an nvidia NF200 chip, so some of the lower end boards don't support it to save costs.

Yeah, i knew it had to have an nvidia chip but i didnt know that most of the boards had it included, i thought it was mainly in the higher end X58 boards.
They dont need the 200 chip, it can done by the bios. But the board maker has to pay nvidia extra either way. Seen test where there was no performance difference either way.

pretty much, the mobo manufacturer has to pay nvidia to have their board "licensed" for sli, i know the intel board doesn't have sli, but the nf200 chip is necessary for the full x16 lane with tri sli
