i7 MoBo Recomendations??

I am using the GA-EX58-UD4P and am super pleased with it. I started with the Intel X58 board but was very disappointed with it. The UD4P has been flawless and it is super easy to OC. However, you will have to spend another $50 to get it Newegg

ummm so far in the market, the EVGA board is one the best in cooling system but for now the one that have the most great specs is the GIGABYTE GA-EX58-UD4P...

The gigabyte board looks like its decent for the price, but if you want SLI capbility an evga board is the best bet.

lol. There are a few that don't. They require an nvidia NF200 chip, so some of the lower end boards don't support it to save costs.

Yeah, i knew it had to have an nvidia chip but i didnt know that most of the boards had it included, i thought it was mainly in the higher end X58 boards.

They dont need the 200 chip, it can done by the bios. But the board maker has to pay nvidia extra either way. Seen test where there was no performance difference either way.

pretty much, the mobo manufacturer has to pay nvidia to have their board "licensed" for sli, i know the intel board doesn't have sli, but the nf200 chip is necessary for the full x16 lane with tri sli
