i7 temperature and thermal grease

I bought a i7 and it ran in the mid 60's (celsius) so i put on thermal grease. Now the mobo utility program in windows says the cores are running in the 90's. Is this even possible? 90 degrees celsius is 194 degrees fahrenheit. Any ideas?

try cleaning it out and re applying thermal grease test HSF and so on if problem presisits its prob a faulty sensor or seek medical advise

You can over-do thermal grease so just clean it off and put some more on. Also check that your CPU cooler is properly fitted and that its made for a LGA1355 or w/e the i7 is
