I was going to overclock my I7 860 today but according to my BIOS...with Turbo boost enabled my cpu will Automatically go to 3.8Ghz when more power is needed 
So it got me wondering,If it does that on the i7s, Is turning off Turbo and doing a manual overclock really needed or any better than just letting your mobo do it for you?
Ive not been keeping up with tech latly so i dont really understand all the ins and outs of Turbo boost and HT and all that good stuff.
Really impressed with the i7s though so far,even at stock it just eats through everything with ease.
