IBM, how good is it?

Well lately I've been wondering how much potential I can find in an IBM, I mean I checked the models they have and I found particularly interesting some of their models. So if I have to go for a PC I will certainly go for an IBM. What do you think?
 
They are pretty good for processing data. They are not upto the mark in gaming, so if you're looking for a good gaming laptop, I suggest that you go for someting like Dell.
IBM is pretty good for business solutions.
 
As stated IBM/ Lenovo's are business machines.
However, don't let that stop you. I just recently got a 14.1 T61. Man it's gorgeous and is no slouch in performance. Plus I do light gaming on it every once in awhile and it does fine (mind you, I'm talking Roller Coaster Tycoon series here lol).

Well actually I want a machine for business and for study. So I guess that IBM/Lenovo is a good choice if that's use I want to give to the laptop. By the way the kind of studies I do are science related so that's where I really want to be sure that it works.
