IC7-G MAXII ADVANCE or P4C800-E DELUXE

What are the differences? Can i run a 2.6C on them? And do they both support HT? I am thinking of building an Intel rig for my GF and i wanted it on a 2.4C/2.6C with a good overclocking mobo and a decent gfx card.

The ASUS ... if that was the IC7 MAX3 i'd might swing the other way. As for why? There's a reason people do memory benchmarking on the P4C800 ... i dont know it (as in the actual underlying engineering/design reason) but im sure the people who do chose that mobo for a damn good reason

They both support HT obviously but you're better off with something like the P4P800SE and spending money on the clock

Do you know where to get a MAX3 ? i coudn't find one, othersiwe i would almost 100% get one. i messed with one and a 2.6C and liked its features, so i'm more familiar with it. if i cant get that then i guess the asus will be my next choice.

I do know where to get them but they are on this side of the border As for online, i have no idea lol ... i dont buy much online (not the heavy wallet items)

I'll see if i can find one then on Google i guess. Whichever is cheaper i think i will get, unless someone can tell me a HUGE advantage of one over the other. Along with you a few other peopla have said go with the ASUS as it overclocks mouch higher. But i odnt think i'm shooting for more than 3.2GHz. have to see...
