I have Vista and have accumulated a lot of icons on my desktop so I organized them in a way that worked for me. The next time I restarted my computer most of the icons were all jumbled in another order. I am sure the solution to this is simple, but I do not know what to do. Thank you in advance for any help.

Turn off the option called AUTO ARRANGE.
