My comp has been doing this weird thing where the shortcut icons dont go away on the desktop. Like ill click delete and it "kind of" goes away but the shortcut still appears to be there. I cant click on it or anything so its like a ghost i cant touch. What should i do about this (its a fairly new computer too)
Hmm, not sure if this will work, but give it a try.
On your desktop, right-click and choose "arrange icons by". Then take the check mark OFF of "show desktop icons". Now, all your icons should be gone. And now, turn them back on and see if the ghosts are still there. Hopefully they won't be able to come back to haunt you.
