Hi all,

I'm feeling like being manipulated by a person, who is probably logged in on the ICQ with 2 different accounts at the same time. Is there a tool/sniffer, program that can help me find out if both ICQ-names have the same ip-adress when I'm on-line with 'them' (perhaps just one person).

Please, if U know something more about this please help. The situation I'm in is squary.

Well, interesting question:)
I know that there are some third-party tools that can do it but I didn't find them in one's time.

Instead I began to use SIM (Simple Instant Messenger) - one more ICQ client which is free. It usually tries ascertaining user IP and specific network belonging by itself. Try loading your ICQ account in it, maybe it'll determine ip-adress you need (sometimes, but rarely, SIM doesn't do it for some reasons). SIM is really simple application and there is no difficult to load your ICQ there. You'll be able to see IP by going to: RT click to user - user information - select ICQ ...... (instead '......' will be this user ICQ number) - Status tab.

of course there are some out, but i guess sniff & hack tools are'nt ok to publish !
icq has a password protection, so you should set another password and set the level to high. whenever logging on you need to type it in.
if you're not running on chat, you could try trilian. this chat programm adds (nearly) all p2p chats like icq, msn,irc and so on.

ciao
